Our FACULTY

All of Strawberry's teachers are educated in the principles of Early Childhood Education and regularly attend classes, workshops and seminars. Teachers are hired on the basis of their training, professional commitment to children and years of experience. Much of our staff has been with us for an average of 14 years -- and some much longer.

Our teaching approach is team-based. Daily staff meetings insure quality programming and the opportunity for teachers to focus on the needs of each child. Two optional conferences with your child's teacher are offered yearly to discuss your child's activities at school. Informal conferences are welcome at any time.

Our Director, Teri Moss

Teri Moss has been at Strawberry Preschool for 24 years. During that time she has been Head Teacher of the Pre-K program, Preschool classroom teacher, Assistant Director and Director for the past 8 years.

Teri did her undergraduate work at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She graduated with a BA in Elementary Education and spent several years teaching third grade in the public school system. After enjoying a Co-Op Nursery School experience with her own children, she decided to specialize in Early Childhood Education. Teri has her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the field for 30 years. You can contact Teri at (415) 388-4437.
